A sound bath is a form of meditation where the listener’s full body is immersed in waves of sound frequencies and vibrations by using healing instruments; guiding the listener into a deep rest and state of relaxation.

My sound baths are aimed at intentionally creating authentic, diverse, inclusive, accessible spaces for people to breathe and just be.

How to prepare for a sound bath?

Step 1: Dress in relaxed clothing

Step 2: Grab your eye mask and ear phones (ear phones are optional). Don’t forget your silk/satin head scarfs, bonnets, nets, and durags to protect your hair while you rest.

Step 3: If you’re attending a live sound bath, bring your yoga mat, a blanket, pillow, and whatever is comforting to you.

If you’re listening virtually, find an area where you are most comfortable. A place where you feel most relaxed and can disconnect from the outside world.  You’re essentially preparing to go to sleep. Have your blanket, pillows, and whatever comforts you.

Step 4: It’s time to activate those listening ears and be bathed in sound waves! Just lay back, relax, and just be.
